July 9, 2024, SHANGHAI – EffePharm is pleased to announce the signing of a significant three-year collaboration agreement with the team of Dr. Zheng Songguo from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This collaboration is part of EffePharm’s latest effort to explore, develop, and scale new wellness solutions, working directly with research institutes to delve deeply into the anti-aging mechanisms and health potential of NMN and NMNH (Reduced NMN).

Dr. Zheng Songguo is the Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and serves as the Director of the Institute of Cell and Gene Therapy. He is also the Chief Scientist for a key research and development project by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology and was previously the Ronald Whisler Endowed Chair Professor at Ohio State University. He served as the head of an NIH grant review panel in the US. His research focuses on the pathogenesis and immunotherapy of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, with pioneering contributions including the discovery of inducible regulatory T cells and groundbreaking studies in gingival mesenchymal stem cells.

Dr. Zheng has garnered numerous prestigious international and domestic accolades, including the the James Klinenberg Award for Best Immunologist in Southern California, the Freda Newton Memorial Award from the Arthritis National Research Foundation, the NIH STAR Award, and the Edmund Dubois Award for Best Rheumatologist in the Asia-Pacific region. He also serves on the editorial boards of several major medical and immunology journals as an editor, associate editor, and chief editor. He has published over 220 high-level papers, with nearly 20,000 citations, and has edited four English medical monographs.
